Multiple wives. Why would I talk about that? In most western countries, it’s illegal to have only one wife at a time. But in Biblical times, it wasn’t uncommon for a man to have several wives. In the early church, apparently some had several wives also. What would you and your congregation do if someone showed up with three wives and a bunch of kids? Would he be allowed to attend? What would you do? Well we have that situation in some African countries and you might find this interesting.

When something bad is done to you, or said about you or against you, and it upsets and offends you, what does Jesus say you and I should do? Or if, instead of you being the one offended, YOU offend or sin against someone else who is now upset with you, what should you do, according to Jesus the Christ?

Does the parable of Lazarus and the rich man in Luke 16 show that when we die we either instantly go to heaven – or instantly, if we were bad, go to suffer eternally in hell fire? Did the beggar go to heaven when he died? Be sure you’re understanding this important parable correctly. And will the wicked be tormented and tortured forever in an ever-burning hell fire that never quite ends their life? Find out in this teaching.

Eph 4:32; Col 3:13 Key to Our Own Forgiveness This is a new and updated version of the sermon on the same topic, but different material today, than the one I gave in 2008. Salvation at its core is about forgiveness and the new life we have in Christ. True forgiveness – at least the way Christ forgives us – is very hard. Truly forgiving others gives the forgiven one and the one doing the forgiving a new lease on life plus many blessings. But without it, we’re not going to be forgiven either. We can’t forgive the consequences of sin, but we can release any resentment, hate, bitterness and lack of love for what others have done to us or we to them. This is a very, very important topic

Some believe we are to pray directly only to God the Father and never to Jesus Christ. If you believe that, or if that is your practice – not to ever pray to Jesus -- I encourage you to listen to this teaching. Does Christ’s teaching us to pray to our Father in the “Lord’s Prayer”, command us not to ever pray to HIM? Who did Abraham, David, the prophets and others pray to in the Old Testament? Are we never to pray to our Betrothed?

Note: Though this is from the 2018 sermon, the message is current. God’s holydays give us a blue print – an outline – of God’s plan to reveal himself to all mankind and to save. The Feast of Trumpets is all about the Son of God Yeshua returning to earth to rule the world. What is the sequence of events culminating in His return? We explain, in this teaching. It will be exciting for those on His side, and scary as can be for those assembling to fight him.

God “used to” reveal himself to men and women “in Bible times” through angels, and even from Christ himself. Others had dreams and visions. These happened both in the Old and New Testament accounts and even after Christ’s resurrection. Has God quit revealing himself and His will? Peter says in Acts 2 that he believed the Joel 2 prophecy was happening; that men AND women were speaking as led by the Holy Spirit. This sermon shows that God has not retired, has not gone mute, but in fact reveals Himself in many ways to those who have ears to hear and eyes to see. Be sure to print out the notes but also hear the audio – as so much more is in the audio than just the notes.
