The Stage for the very last days is being set.

Each day brings us a day closer to seeing our Redeemer coming in the clouds and gathering his elect.  But we know before that brilliant time happens, there will be many dark days beforehand.  What’s coming ahead - in the next few MONTHS – in our country and around the world as a consequence of legal (or illegal) decisions by courts and our leaders? 

Look at our own country – the USA – or if you’re in another country, I’m sure you can see the “signs” in your country too:

***5 unelected black-robed jurists decided to redefine marriage (we DO appreciate the four who spoke out against it).  The five said “marriage” now includes people of same sex, going against God’s clear Bible teaching on this and millennia of experience.  What will be the consequences – intended or unintended – to this massage, illicit ruling?  I’ll discuss that briefly.

***Our president and his team have just handed the go-ahead for Iran – ancient Persia of Biblical times – to build a nuclear bomb.  What on earth were they thinking?  Their leaders incite large crowds to chant “Death to America”.  This regime has not been known to be truthful or trustworthy on its promises… and we negotiate with them on a nuclear bomb?  Just amazing.  This could cause the Sunni Muslim countries all around to seek their own bomb as well (Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, etc.). This dangerous world just got a whole lot more dangerous. And now we find out that Iran is its own inspector in one of its most secretive bases.  What?

*** One of the more subtle but powerful things happening is that our president and his administration and elected leaders of our cities and states are often deciding to IGNORE certain laws they don’t like, or to not enforce the laws of the land.  SO – we are seeing the quality of life crash (people urinating in the streets of NY City, for example), we’re seeing 30,000 or more convicted felons being released back into the streets (especially if they had non-violent crimes on their record like selling heroin on the streets), and – all this emboldens the other side to push their agenda.  I really believe when our president refused to enforce DOMA (Defense of Marriage Act), that the homosexual forces were emboldened by their ally in the White House.  This was the same president who instantly bathed the White House – the People’s House! – in LGBT colors upon hearing the Supreme Court’s decision. 

***Our Identification (I.D.) papers – passports, driver’s licenses, etc. are being produced today in such a way as to help keep track of you.  You may be surprised what’s in all of this. I’ll speak more of it in the sermon.  It’s mind-boggling. 

***The stock market is beginning to tank again with issues involving China right now. MANY predicted this.  This is, after all, the 7^th year since the last drop – and could it be that we truly are in the 7^th year of release again, the “Shemita year” that began with the Feast of Trumpets 2014 and ends this year in just a few weeks?  There have been many who have spoken on this and maybe I’ll add my voice to theirs, but many went before me.  

***I think we are also setting the stage for all and any of us to be easily tracked – by our Facebook, smart phones, the many apps we have on the “smart phones”  that follow you wherever you go.  Someday we will realize these “smart” phones were a dumb and dangerous thing for many of us. Mark my word. Because of our social networking, it will be an easy thing to round up anyone associated with you and me. 

***Congress has passed, and the president has signed, some very serious martial law orders for certain circumstances.  I think probably less than 2% of our population has any idea what the president and his forces have been empowered to do if “the situation warrants it.”  Say good bye to your constitutional freedoms if or when that time comes.  I’ll say more about that when I give the sermon on this blog’s topic.

What are some of the unforeseen and unintended consequences of all this?  What are some of the consequences of the ruling redefining marriage?  And why are so many of God’s people, perhaps even YOU – why are so many remaining silent, doing nothing, saying nothing about the trends we see going on?  Silence is often interpreted as going along with the topic at hand, or at least not being all that concerned about it.  This emboldens evil doers and ultra-liberals who want to foist their agenda on us all.  Can God’s children really be silent in the face of the slide going on?  I realize these were prophesied to happen, but there are still things expected of God’s children, as we shall see.

This blog is just the tip of the iceberg, but I hope it helps you anticipate what’s coming ahead.  And I ask you again:  Can you and I remain silent?  For how long will you be silent?  When you have to have the “mark of the Beast” in your hand and forehead or else you won’t be allowed to buy or sell anything – will you say something then?  Or just capitulate? You  might want to read the rest of this blog.  I might even give a full sermon message after the Feast on this very important topic.

** INACTION by the president is emboldening the far left.  So is inaction by God’s people.  Silence and inaction is often interpreted as going along with the thing you’re being quiet about.  This is why I’m speaking out on this as well as on the topic of abortion and so on.  We must not remain silent! 

President Obama set the stage for the redefining of marriage when – years ago – he quit enforcing DOMA (Defense of Marriage Act).  When you quit enforcing laws, those against those laws are freed to act out their rage. This set the stage for the country to more readily accept and tolerate open homosexuality.  Most sitcoms, many movies, even news clips seem to openly portray homosexuality to the point you’d think everyone’s OK with it, and everyone’s doing it, or even experimenting with it.  But the statistics show still a tiny percentage are actually homosexual  but Hollywood, the Presidency of the USA, liberal courts and judges and the SILENCE OF GOD’S PEOPLE  -- are all greasing the slide into Sodom and Gomorrah. 

*** “Hate speech”.   The stage is being set to someday be able to go after anyone using words that identify male or female.  After all, after the male Bruce Jenner decided he’s now a girl, we’re told it’s hateful to refer to someone as male or female.  Because after all, how do they know if they’re male or female?  I can tell them very quickly. Can’t you?  So we’re seeing a major retail store removing “boys” and “girls” from the children’s clothing section.  May God have mercy on us and our confusion.  I think you should say something to the store management that is doing that.  Or even take your business elsewhere.

*** The gay movement has been emboldened by their success and so Tennessee is already changing some legal documents where children have to identify their “father” or “Mother”.  Now the documents say “Parent #1” and “Parent #2”. 

*** Bakeries across the land are being fined, as high as $100,000 or more plus other penalties – for refusing to decorate a cake for 2 men getting married.  But is there a single Muslim bakery that is being similarly penalized or fined?  They won’t bake such a cake either!  There’s ample video evidence of their refusal to decorate a cake for 2 men getting married – but no penalty to Muslim bakeries. 

How long before YOU will be forced, one way or another, to cater and pander to the LGBT agenda in OTHER ways, whether you feel that goes against God’s word or not? 

*** In Kentucky, a clerk named Kim Davis refuses to issue marriage licenses for same-sex “marriages” due to her long-held religious beliefs. Will she be allowed to keep her beliefs?  No.  Within days she was served a lawsuit by ACLU seeking to make her issue those licenses, though her conscience and religious beliefs prohibit it.  Thank God for folks like the ACLJ and Liberty Counsel and others that are helping her fight this battle in court. 

Are you seeing where these changes in the law – and the direction the country is heading in – are setting the stage for the prophesied Mark of the Beast – where we won’t be able to buy or sell unless we come under the Beast power?  But don't forget what we’re told the risk is – if we do capitulate!

*** Transgender sex – because of the Supreme Court ruling and because of the publicity and impact of Bruce Jenner’s sex change, we now see schools in VA and eventually elsewhere teaching intimate issues about sex even in kindergarten, making them feel free to question if they’re really a boy or a girl.  And it’s getting harder and harder to keep your children out of these classes!  A major Department store has – for about a year now – allowed transgender males-to-females use the Ladies restrooms.  Where will this end? 

Many people, even God’s people, “go along to get along” and not to raise a fuss or make a commotion.  SO we remain silent in the face of these assaults on OUR constitutional right to have freedom of religion “and the free exercise thereof”.  That last phrase is so often left out of the discussion.  I’m supposed to be able to exercise my beliefs too!  But the hard far left is trying to say that we all now have to abide by THEIR beliefs in contravention to our own beliefs! 

And because the vast majority of people who disagree with that – won’t say anything and just go along to get along, we’re helping set the stage for the coming mark of the beast. 

I say again:  this is all a very tame prelude to what is about to come.  I will give a full sermon on this soon.  But here are some verses that speak for themselves in the meantime.  I recommend you read all of Revelation 13. 

Revelation 13:7-8

It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over EVERY tribe, tongue, and nation. 8 All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

Revelation 13:15-18

“He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed.

16 He causes ALL, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

18 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666”.

This Beast power will make it so it is impossible to conduct business of any kind unless you come under his evil system. You won’t be able to pay your mortgage, to have a job, to buy food or gas or clothing – anything that involves money – unless you surrender to the Beast power. We will have to be people of immense faith.  God will provide. But it’s going to be a time of testing.  V. 7 said, there will be WAR against the saints and for a time they will be overcome by the Beast power.  Daniel says the same.  Read Daniel 7:21-22; Daniel 8:24-25 and other places in chapter 11 and 12. 

So there will be a lot of pressure put on each of us to be part of the changes, the system, the Beast power, the mark of the Beast.  Don’t be so cavalier that it won’t be tough.  But those who DO take part in the Beast system will be part of the 7 last Plagues of Revelation 16. 

Revelation 16:2

“So the first went and poured out his bowl upon the earth, and a foul and loathsome sore came upon the men who had the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image.”

Revelation 14:9-13

Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, "If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, 10 he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. 11 And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name."

12 Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.

13 Then I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, "Write: 'Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.'"

"Yes," says the Spirit, "that they may rest from their labors, and their works follow them."

We WILL have to speak up against and refuse to be part of this system… at some point. The Mark of the Best, whatever it is… if we accept it, we will suffer the wrath of God himself. We’ve just read it.  But if we do NOT accept the world’s ways – at some point they will try to kill us and make it impossible to live and conduct business.  The stage is being set.  I don’t know how much time we have left – but pray “Thy kingdom come, Father, thy kingdom come – SOON!”  And do everything you know how to stay in close relationship with God, His Word the Son of God and with His written word, and stay strong in the power of HIS might. 

And yes, start to speak up. It will help you be in the mode of NOT being part of what his world is doing. Oh, you might die for that.  Temporarily.  But in the end, you’ll live forever.
