If our understanding about God is skewed, we can end up sidelining either God Most High (the Father) or The Word of God (Jesus). How do we explain Deut 6:4 – “The LORD (YHVH) is one”? Hebrew “echad”. IS there room for more than one being in the Godhead? Last time I showed from scripture how BOTH the Father and the Son are Creator, BOTH are Savior, and BOTH are God of the Old Testament. Study Part 1 first. In this one, we’ll cover “which one was YHVH” (the LORD)? Who is Alpha and Omega in Revelation? Who is the “I am”? HOW active was God Most High in the Old Testament?

This teaching may surprise many of you. Who would you say is the Creator? Or the Savior? Or the “God of the Old Testament”? One way or another, it seems our answers end up with either God the Father or Jesus getting sidelined. This teaching will help you rejoice in the close interactions of God Most High and the Word – and how involved they each are – perhaps as never before. I hope we also make their relationship with each other extra clear.

In 2023, Most of you will be keeping Pentecost on May 28, 2023, Sunday. Some will keep it Monday. This day is also called Feast of First Fruits and Feast of Weeks/Sabbaths (Shavuot in Hebrew). I’ve given this message before but it has timeless information and would be a good review for this vital day. Most people remember Pentecost of when God gave His Holy Spirit (Acts 2) and gave the Law at Mt Sinai (Exodus 19-24). But there’s so much more. What did the 2 leavened wheat loaves called “first fruits” symbolize? Was marriage pictured by this day in both the old and new covenants? How? Which book is read on Pentecost and why? Who is our “goel” Redeemer? Where will Christ be married, and when? Has Pentecost been fully fulfilled already, or are there still so many more exciting meanings? Have a wonderful Pentecost, which means “fiftieth”.

On the Day of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit was given. What do you think of when someone says “Holy Spirit”? How do we receive it? What does the Spirit do? I’ve prepared a list of 22 things the Spirit is doing to help us appreciate our great God’s gift even more. There are 3x that many more points about the Spirit so use this as a launching pad for more study on your own.

I gave this sermon the first time some years ago but its message of all spirit-filled believers coming together as one body is even more vital today. Acts 2:1 – “they were together, of one accord”. That’s how the early church started, working together to YHVH’s glory, as one. But we are not one today. God through His Holy Spirit wants us to be one, working together again. It must happen. Surely Christ is not going to marry a Bride made up of believers who frankly think they are the only “church of God” or who won’t come worship together as all the parts of the body forming one body. This message discusses the HOW and WHO that makes this happen. YOU have a part in bringing the body of Christ together, or else you’re scattering (Luke 11:23).

Do you ever wonder how on earth we can “pray without ceasing”? Would you like more power to defeat temptation and sin? This message today will help us speak more often and more effectively with God and not do as much “works of the flesh” as we have in the past.

How busy Jesus has been since his resurrection. This sermon is very different from the video sermon. You’ll see Jesus much more clearly and you’ll be glad you checked this one out. We don’t “keep Easter” but we’re delighted to praise God for Wavesheaf day. Do you feel God accepts you, or do you feel like you’ve failed God and don’t measure up? How Wavesheaf shows the ongoing salvation day by day by Jesus. What has kept Yeshua busy since his resurrection after he ascended and returned from heaven. It includes you!

For seven days after we participated in Passover, many of us will be eating unleavened bread during the Days of Unleavened Bread, not regular bread and crackers. Ezekiel 45:21 speaks of “Passover, a Feast of seven days…”. So I refer to it as “the Passover season”. But WHO does that unleavened bread that we eat, picture? I believe this study will open a lot of exciting new outlooks for many of us. It did for me, even as I prepared it.

Will you be at Passover this year? Will you keep it in a worthy manner? Or can we be bringing problems on ourselves, including lack of healings, because of not taking the Passover in a worthy manner? HOW do we take it worthily?

Though this was originally given many years ago, it is very pertinent for today. Should Passover be so sober and almost glum as it is for many? Do we remember this service inaugurated the New Covenant in His blood and gives us the VICTORY over Satan and sin? We’ll compare this to Jesus’ Passover. What hymns should be sung? You’ll find this message uplifting and a good preparation for Passover this year.: Were you full of JOY at the wonders of Passover and Days of Unleavened Bread? While Passover is solemn as we honor our Lord's death, it is also an upbeat time of joy, relief, renewal and new life. We look at how Hezekiah, Josiah, Jesus and the early church kept Passover and Days of UB and compare it to our experience today.
