In 2023, Most of you will be keeping Pentecost on May 28, 2023, Sunday. Some will keep it Monday. This day is also called Feast of First Fruits and Feast of Weeks/Sabbaths (Shavuot in Hebrew). I’ve given this message before but it has timeless information and would be a good review for this vital day. Most people remember Pentecost of when God gave His Holy Spirit (Acts 2) and gave the Law at Mt Sinai (Exodus 19-24). But there’s so much more. What did the 2 leavened wheat loaves called “first fruits” symbolize? Was marriage pictured by this day in both the old and new covenants? How? Which book is read on Pentecost and why? Who is our “goel” Redeemer? Where will Christ be married, and when? Has Pentecost been fully fulfilled already, or are there still so many more exciting meanings? Have a wonderful Pentecost, which means “fiftieth”.
