Jesus said if we don’t repent, we will perish (Luke 13:5). Have you truly repented in a godly way? Do you let other people repent and move on? Or do you feel some people’s sins are too bad for God or you to forgive? Can we forgive someone who sins against us over and over in one day and yet claims repentance each time and seeks our forgiveness? What did Jesus say? Who was the first person whom Jesus revealed himself to as the promised Messiah? Who was the first to see the risen Christ? If you were God, would you have forgiven terribly wicked King Ahab and king Manasseh? This sermon is as much about forgiving repentant people as it is about repenting, no matter the horror of your sins.
