For seven days after we participated in Passover, many of us will be eating unleavened bread during the Days of Unleavened Bread, not regular bread and crackers. Ezekiel 45:21 speaks of “Passover, a Feast of seven days…”. So I refer to it as “the Passover season”. But WHO does that unleavened bread that we eat, picture? I believe this study will open a lot of exciting new outlooks for many of us. It did for me, even as I prepared it.

Though this was originally given many years ago, it is very pertinent for today. Should Passover be so sober and almost glum as it is for many? Do we remember this service inaugurated the New Covenant in His blood and gives us the VICTORY over Satan and sin? We’ll compare this to Jesus’ Passover. What hymns should be sung? While Passover is solemn as we honor our Lord's death, it is also an upbeat time of joy, relief, renewal and new life. We look at how Hezekiah, Josiah, Jesus and the early church kept Passover and Days of UB and compare it to our experience today.

We know God the Father set a plan in motion to save everyone who responded to his call and accepted the Son of God as Savior. Do we have a part in that plan? And yet we’re told we can’t be justified, set right with God, by our works (Rom. 3:22-28). What part do we play in our salvation? Can we be saved right now – or is it a lifelong process, culminating when Christ returns? Is being saved a one-time event, or a process? Is salvation conditional or unconditional?
