Pope calls for one world government

In here, we find Pope Francis calling for an END to national sovereignty and establishing a global government instead. He says one world governing power is necessary to properly tackle global problems like climate change and the mass migration of entire ethnic groups (like the border crisis the USA is facing right now on the southern border).

His significant voice is just one more being added to the many others calling for one world government. Though many thought President Trump would be leading us toward that same goal, so far he has not. But the Pope claimed planetary problems are only exacerbated “by an excessive demand for sovereignty on the part of States.”

My comment is this: I’ve been to the Vatican many times. As you get close, the first thing you see is that the entire city-country is surrounded by high and massively thick WALLS! Sure, they have several gates of entry. But even in the USA, we have over 300 legal ports of entry, but no proper southern wall, except for some few miles of low walls or fencing. Anyone on our southern border can just walk across in many, many places. It’s open – even for terrorists, let alone those hoping to just walk into our country without the proper protocols.

So before the Pope starts to preach at other countries, maybe he should look at his own city-state. Maybe start by declaring all Muslims (or anyone who wants to) moving to Europe are free and welcome to come to the Vatican to live and they’ll be amply provided for by the papacy. But I doubt you’ll see that happen.

But even here in the USA, we have the Democrats’ presidential candidates, including Joe Biden now, claiming that all immigrants and residents – documented (legal) or undocumented (illegally here) – should have access to full health care. I myself, as a citizen, went many years when our children were younger, without ANY health insurance because I could not afford it back then while I was self-employed. In the past 4-5 years, even with “Obamacare”, my wife and I paid about $24,000 a year, for several years, for this “coverage” – including the $6000 co-pay each year for any procedures I would have. It’s called “Affordable Care Act”. But $24,000 a year for the two of us was not “affordable”.

But some want to give away “free” health care to those who walk across illegally – while our own citizens struggle with health insurance payments unless their place of employment covers it. This does have much to do with one world government. So already we have the Pope interfering with what’s happening in some countries. He even said recently that “anyone who builds walls”, (then he paused before continuing, for effect)  --“is not a Christian”.

Pope Francis calls for “international organizations” to develop into governing bodies that would override and supplant national governments’ interests with – instead – what the United Nations would deem appropriate.

And of course, remember that most of the expenses of the UN are met and paid for by – once again – the USA. Not to mention the many problems caused by and done under the auspices of the UN!! Certainly the U.N. has not decreased the number of wars or solved anything noteworthy that I can think of. But the Pope wants them to have MORE power, more authority.

Those who wish to listen to this Pope, I hope, will at least listen to his steadfast abhorrence of abortion. But they selectively listen. He certainly is a liberal on most things.

And don’t forget the union of Catholic Church with the emperors of the Holy Roman Empire – which was never holy, nor really Roman, except most often controlled or at least influenced by, the Roman church in Rome. So no doubt this Pope would want his Roman Catholic church, which he heads, to be the “spiritual advisor” to this world ruling government. Very convenient. Hmm.

Also keep in mind that to have a world-ruling government, you will need someone at the head of that government. The Bible calls the spiritual leader of this union, the “False Prophet”. The political system and its head – is called “the Beast”. So in the years ahead be watching for a political/religious union developing somewhere in the world.

Most have believed for decades that the “Beast and the False Prophet” described in the book of Revelation would be the resurgent European Union teaming with the Roman Catholic church. Perhaps?

Even now, the symbol for the EU is a woman riding a beast. Did you know that? The woman is called “Europa” and it’s a woman riding a raging bull. The building behind her houses the European Council.

There IS a coming world-ruling empire influenced by a “woman” – a church or religion centered in a city – that is prophesied in the Bible (Revelation 17 and 13). Most have pointed to a future united Europe with 10 kings, influenced by the Roman church. But others point to Mecca, and a rise of Islam that they believe will fulfill this, but I hesitate to endorse that thought because this coming world order will be a world order; it will dominate and influence every single nation, tribe and ethnic group around the world. Read Revelation 13 for more information, especially verses 7-8, and then finish the rest of the chapter. Later in the chapter there’s a 2^nd “beast” who appears as a lamb but really speaks like a dragon (Satan’s symbol) – Rev 13:11. This false religious leader will be able to perform great miraculous signs – causing many to be deceived (Rev. 13:13). 

So what, who and where exactly this 10 king world ruling government teamed up with a religious leader will be – we’ll have to wait and see. I’m convinced many who thought they absolutely knew this prophecy inside and out – will be surprised by its final manifestation.

It is also interesting that the world has been divided for some time now into 10 governing group sections. Did you know that? Perhaps that will be the 10 kings. After all, this ruling power is supposed to rule every nation, every tribe, and every ethnic group. (Rev. 13:7-8). And remember this evil empire will make war against the true saints of God and will “overcome them”.

So be alert. Keep your eyes and options open. “Light on the rock is a non-prophet organization”, I say with a wry smile once in a while. So for now I just say – keep your eyes open. Be prepared for prophecy to be fulfilled in ways almost no one anticipates right now.

We are told in several ways that the end time will come together in ways we did not expect. Christ said his 2^nd coming, for example, will be at a time you will not expect (Matthew 24:36-44, especially verse 44). Right now most are saying Christ can return any time now, or certainly within 5-10 years. If everyone is expecting that, then my scripture says that is not the likely timing for his return! Remember all ten virgins awaiting the bridegroom SLEPT and all ten were caught off guard in that way (Matthew 25:1-13). So he warns us to watch ourselves therefore, for we don’t know exactly when.

So what we’re looking for is a government depicted by a beast that is ridden by a woman (church or religion based in one great city). Is it possible that the false prophet/religion riding this world government could literally be a woman, and not a man? Or not? I’m just saying, keep your options open and watch. I know scripture in English at least says “he” when describing this false prophet, who otherwise is equated with a “woman” – common for false religions.

Literally, scripture tells us that the woman represents “that great CITY that reigns over the kings of the earth” (Revelation 17:18). THAT description historically seems to point to Rome – not Mecca, not New York. It’s also a “woman” who has “the blood of saints” on her hands (verse 6). We also know that the false church’s LEADER will very likely not end up in Rome or anywhere else – but in Jerusalem, in a coming temple, claiming to be very God. I need to give a sermon going into all this in detail soon.

BUT, the main point of this blog is – a coming world government IS coming, but exactly how and when will it manifest itself is still open for discussion. Keep your options open. Don’t set your opinions in stone just yet. It may happen in a way and time “you think not”, so keep your eyes and options open.       

Another tip: don’t necessarily take all these depictions literally but symbolically instead. The woman is really pointing to church BASED in a CITY (v. 17). Seven mountains on which it sits – may not be 7 literal hills around a city, but 7 governments/kings (Rev. 17:9-10) that have been connected to that city. I keep hearing modern “prophets” saying we should look for a literal city that has 7 literal hills around it – which of course point to Jerusalem or Rome and some say Mecca. But that’s being too literal.

Please study, on your own, slowly – Revelation 13, Revelation 17 and all of Matthew 24, Revelation 19. Here’s Revelation 17.

Revelation 17

Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and talked with me, saying to me, "Come, I will show you the judgment of the great harlot who sits on many waters [see verse 15], 2 with whom the kings of the earth committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth were made drunk with the wine of her fornication."

3 So he carried me away in the Spirit into the wilderness. And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast which was full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. 4 The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the filthiness of her fornication. 5 And on her forehead a name was written:

MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

6 I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. And when I saw her, I marveled with great amazement.

7 But the angel said to me, "Why did you marvel? I will tell you the mystery of the woman and of the beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and the ten horns. 8 The beast that you saw was, and is not, and will ascend out of the bottomless pit and go to perdition. And those who dwell on the earth will marvel, whose names are not written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the world, when they see the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

9 "Here is the mind which has wisdom: The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits. 10 There are also seven kings. Five have fallen, one is, and the other has not yet come. And when he comes, he must continue a short time. 11 The beast that was, and is not, is himself also the eighth, and is of the seven, and is going to perdition.

12 "The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast. 13 These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast.

14 These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful."

15 Then he said to me, "The waters which you saw, where the harlot sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations, and tongues. 16 And the ten horns which you saw on the beast, these will hate the harlot, make her desolate and naked, eat her flesh and burn her with fire. 17 For God has put it into their hearts to fulfill His purpose, to be of one mind, and to give their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God are fulfilled.

18 And the woman whom you saw is that great city which reigns over the kings of the earth."

So a false world-ruling government IS coming. But then our Savior Yeshua the King of kings returns, smashes that false Satan-dominated ruling government, and sets up the rule of Jesus Christ (Yeshua), the Son of God, which spreads over the entire earth in the years after he returns – as Daniel 2:44-45 explains.

Prayer: Father in heaven, please don’t delay any longer (Rev. 10:6; Hebrews 10:36). Please send your Son, our Beloved King, back to this earth soon. We want YOUR one-world ruling government and no one else’s version. In Yeshua’s mighty name, Amen.
