NO, there won’t be a rapture Sept 23 or 24 this year
Countless preachers did it last year and it looks like they’re at it again this year. SO many are saying the Pre-Trib Rapture will happen on the day of Trumpets – Rosh Hashanah – which Jews ascribe to TWO DAYS as they do most of their holydays, either September 23 or 24 this year.
Dogmatically, I say no, absolutely not, there will be no Pre-tribulation rapture. Not in 2025 and really no Pre-Trib any time. Even if significant events happen on those dates, there still will be no rapture this month or next month 2025.
The usual belief (not mine) is that the rapture is supposed to happen before the Great tribulation starts. The Pre-Trib rapture teaches that the great tribulation starts once all the saints are caught up to heaven – based on a gross misunderstanding of 1 Thess 4:16-17. But it won’t happen like that this year. Of course Yeshua prophesied that there will be MANY false teachers and prophets, deceiving many. They may be well intentioned, but they will be false teachers, wolves of sheep’s clothing, he said. (Matthew 24:11, 24). So be on your guard.
WHY am I so dogmatically against the Pre-Trib idea? For lots of proof and scriptures, please study and review my sermon about “Why you will miss a Pre-Tribulation rapture.” https://www.lightontherock.org/index.php/sermons/message/why-you-will-miss-the-pre-trib-rapture
Fair enough, nobody wants to go through the Great tribulation, as it will be the time of worst trouble the world has ever seen. Add to that the seven trumpet plagues of God that we read about in Revelation 8-9, and the seven last Bowl plagues of Revelation 16, it’s very understandable why no believers want to be on the earth at that time.
But get this: if all the saints of God are gone from the earth, where will all the saints come from whom we’re told will be martyred by the coming Beast System? Obviously, many saints are still on earth when the Beast power appears.
I do believe the most zealous of God’s people will be protected from this time of great trouble, but not by being raptured to heaven, but by being taken by God to His place of safety (Rev. 3:10; Daniel 12:1-2). But lukewarm Laodicean type believers at the very end time will have to be refined in the fire to wake them up and lead them to full repentance (Rev. 3:14-22, especially v.17-19). I believe those will be the ones who will be martyred by the Beast system – saints still here on the earth who need to be like gold refined in the fire of tribulation.
Notice these verses about the coming Beast power of Revelation 13:7-8 and how he will go after any saints he can find and kill them:
Revelation 13:7-8
“It was granted to him to MAKE WAR with the SAINTS and to OVERCOME them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation. 8 ALL who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.”
Revelation 13:15 says, “He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be KILLED.”
So some elect saints will be protected by God, and others will have to be purged clean.
Matthew 24:9 "Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name's sake.”
But we also know Yeshua is coming to gather his elect from the four corners of the earth—from all over the world – but WHEN does that happen?
The Pre-Trib folks all are adamant that Yeshua’s return to gather his saints will be BEFORE the Tribulation. But what does Jesus say?
Matthew 24:26-27 "Therefore if they say to you, 'Look, He is in the desert!' do not go out; or 'Look, He is in the inner rooms!' do not believe it. 27 For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.”
Now notice the timing of the coming of Messiah:
Matthew 24:29-31 "Immediately AFTER the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30 THEN the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they WILL SEE the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31 And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.”
Notice verses 29-30 – we see Jesus returning for his elect bride AFTER the tribulation, NOT before. Then the seventh trumpet sounds and THEN we’re taken to meet Christ in the air – if you combine 1 Cor. 15:50-52 and 1 Thess. 4:16-17.
So there will be no rapture on the Feast of Trumpets this year 2025. It won't happen since Sept 23-24 can’t be after the tribulation, which hasn’t even started yet. Even Jonathan Cahn is saying it could happen, it might happen. No, absolutely not. It won’t happen this year even if other major events happen on these dates, the return of Christ for his elect won’t happen this year. There are still too many things that Yeshua clearly says have to happen first.
This same thing happened in 2024. So many were so certain, so dogmatic, that the tribulation would be on Rosh Hashanah last year 2024. It looks like they’re doing it again. But the prophecies of Christ returning in Sept or October 2025 will be false predictions and in the end that will cause many to be weakened in their faith.
So many preachers were so adamant in 2024 Christ was about to return on one of the holydays. But Jesus did not come in 2024 and Jesus is not coming in 2025.
And ponder this: if all the saints have been raptured before the tribulation, where will all the saints come from who we read are being martyred during the tribulation? So I hope it’s clear to you all. So Jesus comes AFTER the great tribulation, just as He said, not before.
When people listen to false predictions and false prophecies that don’t happen, it weakens their faith and makes them unprepared. So don’t let that happen to you.
Christ comes at the last trumpet of God – at the 7th Trumpet in a coming year. THAT is when the saints are changed to spirit immortal beings (read 1 Cor. 15:50-55) and caught up to meet the Master, our Lord Jesus Christ, in the air (1 Thess 4:16-17). Flesh and blood – which is what we are presently – cannot inherit the kingdom of God (1 Cor. 15:50). I suggest you also study my sermons on the first resurrection. The timing and details that God reveals are quite different from what you may have been taught.
Revelation 11:15 “Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, "The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!"
So the seventh trumpet of God is when God’s elect chosen ones, then resurrected and changed to spirit beings, are caught up to Jesus in the clouds. But there will still be seven more frightening plagues from God, called the Seven Bowl plagues of Revelation 16.

One thing’s for sure: we are LIVING in the most exciting Bible times EVER. Don’t slumber or sleep spiritually. Repent of spiritual lethargy and become the most zealous you have ever been in your life. Pray without ceasing – constantly contacting God and Jesus in prayer and constantly in his Word. Redeem the time. Don’t be wasting so much time on Facebook, Instagram, Netflix, TV, and social media. BE READY for his coming. But it won’t be this year, when we accept Jesus’ own timeline and His own words about how and when it all happens.
Praise God, hallelujah. Father send your Son soon please. Come, Lord Jesus.

I have studied that many, many times over the years in different COGs and yes, there are going to be some taken to a place of safety and the luke warm Christians will become martyrs, they have to be refined and they have to wake up.........
I wanted to take a moment to express my deep appreciation for your new blog/teaching on the topic of “No, there won’t be a rapture on Sept 23 or 24 this year.” I was deeply blessed to learn that Jesus comes *after* the great tribulation, just as He said, not before. Your insights have reminded us as Christians to stop following false predictions and false prophecies that don’t come to pass, as they weaken our faith and leave us unprepared.
You’ve also encouraged us to stop wasting time on social media and to be ready for His coming. Your message is a powerful reminder to trust in Jesus’ own timeline and His own words about how and when everything happens. Thank you for your wisdom and for leading us back to the truth.
This is a wake up call for us to be very zealous. I love this message for sure. May the good God bless you very much for sharing this amazing truth.
