Is the day of Atonement (Yom Kippur) really the final days of the “Ten days of Awe” – which is Jewish tradition, and is it only about scary judgment? Hear our sermon on what the Bible actually SAYS about it, and not just Jewish tradition. I’m reposting the original sermon I gave in 2021, so the dates given are for 2021. Atonement in 2025 is kept on Oct 2 or 3, depending on whether you go by the observable new crescent moon on the day of Trumpets or by Jewish tradition. Observable new moon date was Sept 24 this year, which will give us Oct 3, Friday, 2025 as the day of Atonement. It’s a day of fasting from sundown Oct 2 to sundown Oct 3.
So enjoy the sermon and review that all sin is placed on Yeshua, the Son of God, in all of scripture, and never is a single sin of ours placed on Satan, as so many believe. NOT one scripture says Satan is able to take a single sin on his sinful head. Study this message and see the truth. Can Satan have any part in atoning our sins? Shouldn’t we emphasize the One whose life was sacrificed for us and then also in fact takes on himself the sin of the world, as John the baptizer said (John 1:29)? WHY are we told we must absolutely avoid ALL WORK on this holyday? And be sure as you fast on this day, that you don’t just go without food, but use it to change your life, as Isaiah 58 explains. May this day of Atonement fill your heart with JOY of being atoned – rather than the fearful dread that those following Jewish tradition experience.

This is an amazing sermon! It is an eye-opening. It is not as what we used to know in the mainstream CoGs. I recommend it to others who may be interested to know the truth.
