Yes, even if they believe differently than you
Just yesterday ISIS put out graphic videos – which I couldn’t watch – of their captives being burned alive. Some are Christians, some just simply don’t believe like the ISIS butchers believe. This is prophesied to get worse and worse until it can be said that we’re in the worst of times the world has ever seen. Ever. We’re not there yet. But even now, children and young women are being sold into slavery and the sex trade because they aren’t Muslims. Some are being crucified, tortured brutally, burned alive, beheaded and are having to give up everything they’ve known and owned - because they call on the name of Christ.
Our one true God tells us that He marks and takes note of those who “cry and sigh” for the abominations in the land (Ezekiel 9). Are you even aware of the extent of the monstrous horrors happening to Christians and minorities in Iraq and Syria – as well as in Pakistan, Sudan, Iran, and other Muslim countries in particular? Are you bringing these atrocities up to the great Throne of Grace and asking Abba in Heaven to watch over his people, to protect them as much as possible
Some of you won’t pray for those “Christians” because they don’t believe just like you do. Please don’t react that way. Christ himself said, “He who is not with me is against me…” (Matthew 12:30). Another time he rebuked his disciples for rebuking people who were preaching in Christ’s name but who were not among his bona fide disciples. Yeshua’s response: “He is not against us is on our side” (Mark 9:40). Oh, that more of us would have our Master’s attitude.
Instead we seem to want to constantly divide and split up those who follow Yeshua the Messiah – or as most know him - Jesus Christ.
Mark 9:38-41
Now John answered Him, saying, "Teacher, we saw someone who does not follow us casting out demons in Your name, and we forbade him because he does not follow us."
But Jesus said, "Do not forbid him, for no one who works a miracle in My name can soon afterward speak evil of Me.
40 For he who is not against us is on our side. 41 For whoever gives you a cup of water to drink in My name, because you belong to Christ, assuredly, I say to you, he will by no means lose his reward.”

I’m asking you to do the following:
- Pray diligently “Thy kingdom come, Father, send Christ back --- real soon – to stop this horrific violence being done to people calling on your Son’s name.
- Pray that Yahweh will “please be kind to us who remain and provide Divine protection and deliverance, if you will, Oh Great God”.
- Call your senator and congress member. Tell them you want them insisting that more be done to help and protect these minorities. That those are the people to whom we should be opening our doors to come to this country for asylum. President Obama seems quite willing to open the doors wide for Muslims – but not for Christians. Tell them we want that to change! Tell them we need to hit ISIS much, much harder than we have been.
- Be willing to support groups that are putting their money where their mouth is and ARE providing camps of refuge for these persecuted minorities. OK, I don’t espouse all their doctrinal beliefs by a long shot – but I want to help those who are helping protect our brethren “over there”. I speak of LibertyAction.org and ACLJ.org and RUN ministries, just to name a few.
We can’t remain on the sidelines doing nothing. We simply can’t.
I hope you’ll heed this blog and respond to it. I’m sure God Almighty is watching to see what you will do.
