Philip, during the many years I have been a Christian and attended COG congregations, I don't believe I have ever heard a message like this 2-part sermon, "God's perfection for us." So, at first, I had a difficult time wrapping my mind around the concept as you explained it, of "For by one offering, HE HAS PERFECTED FOREVER THOSE WHO ARE BEING SANCTIFIED" (Hebrews 10:14 & others). Of course, I had read all the scriptures multiple times, but my understanding never reached that amazing kernel of truth - God's role in our perfection. I have often had feelings that I just would never be able to "measure up" and I know others who have felt the same. Thank you so much, Philip, for this wonderful & beautiful message. I can honestly say it has been a blessing in my life.
