What is the Day of Atonement all about – in just 2-3 sentences? Is it really about punishment, God’s wrath, God’s judgment – as so many believe? Or is this day really all about Satan, and having him be put away, or is that the wrong emphasis? Who was allowed to work, and worked hard, on this Day? What does Kippur or Kippurim mean?
