We have over 200 different sermons now on this website, all free, and all pointing to the glory of our Christ and our Father. Drink in of God’s Spirit, eat of his food and enjoy. Don’t miss the Blogs, as there is a wealth of smaller but thought-provoking topics in those blogs as well. Remember to put 1-2 key words in the Search bar on this home page (top left) for topics you wish to explore. Are there topics you’d like me to cover? Email me, contact me and tell me. Let me know also if this site is blessing you. Let others know. Spread the word. May Yah’s blessings flow down to you all, in Yeshua’s name – Philip Shields.

Yom Teruah” (“Feast of Trumpets”) 2015

by Philip Shields

Day of Remembrance plus shofar blasts, shouts of joy and alarm. Usually called “Feast of Trumpets”, or “Yom Teruah” in the original Hebrew, which means “day of blasts, joyful shouts and acclamation”. Why it’s often called “Feast of TRUMPETS”. It is the first of the last four appointed times to meet with Yahweh in the Fall. It is called the Day of Remembrance and a memorial of “teruah”. Find out what else happened on this day and what this holyday could be picturing ahead for us. Why we don’t call it “Rosh Hashanah”. All this and more.
